KDFC Education Programme

FA Qualifications

Kensington Dragons Football Club (KDFC) offers its players opportunities to develop their education within the game. The Club regularly organises FA qualifications in coaching, refereeing, Futsal, and coaching disabled players. All courses are certificated by the Football Association and recognised at a national level. You can add them to your CV when seeking employment or applying to college or university.

First Aid and Safeguarding

KDFC recognises that everyone from Club officials to volunteers are responsible for the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. The Club regularly organises FA courses in first aid and safeguarding, which are monitored by the Club Welfare Officer.

Continuous Professional Development

KDFC arranges regular Coaches Conferences and supports Coaches to attend CPD events organised by the FA or Middlesex County FA in order to expand their understanding of the game. These are person-to-person participatory events where our coaches can develop their knowledge in many aspects of the game from technical football drills to inclusion.

Other Programmes and Events

KDFC organises other programmes and events related to further/higher education and careers, such as skills-in-industry workshops and vocational careers talks. Players, parents and the wider community can participate in various activities led by those with expertise in the Dragons Football Club and by partner organisations.
