Thank you everybody who donated to keep the Dragons going. We can only afford to run all our teams without charging because of the selfless generosity of those who can afford  to help out – their reward will not only be in heaven as they will also be invited to the much sought after Supporters’ Reception in March. With seemingly unending rain there were few matches. The good news is that the Blues reached their Cup Final set for Saturday 21st March at Uxbridge FC with a 5.30pm KO:

The Firsts’ Quarter Final in the MCFA Intermediate Cup to Harrow United was postponed – they play the tie this coming Saturday.

The Blues beat CB Hounslow & Abbots 3-0 at home in the Semi Final of the Divisional Cup to reach the Final. Whilst this wasn’t a Dragons vintage performance, they were too strong and clinical for Hounslow. They led 1-0 at the break in a hard fought encounter much to the disappointment of the massed away supporters. The second half saw the game stretch with gaps appearing all over the park. The Dragons sealed victory with two goals in the last 10 minutes to book their place in the Final.

The Old Dragonians away fixture to Chiswick Celtic was postponed.

The U16 Boys beat Pinner United 6-1 at the Den. Although this was an away match, Pinner kindly agreed to play at the Den as their pitch was waterlogged. The Dragons were the better team, but Pinner had improved since their last meeting and at half time the match could have gone either way. The Dragons’ greater skill eventually showed through to score the occasional goal here and there to add up to a respectable tally.

The U13 Boys lost at home to Sandgate in the Quarter Final of the Middlesex County Trophy. The Dragons sadly crashed out as their unfamiliar opponents held a deep line of defence after going ahead and that proved too difficult to break down..

The New U10 Boys just lost 1-2 to Foots UK at home. A tough result for the Dragons who played well but were let down by failing to finish their chances.

All other Youth Boys games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches across the country.

There were no Youth Girls games as they enjoyed the half-term break.
