KDFC Education Programme

FA qualifications
Kensington Dragons Football Club (KDFC) offers its players opportunities to develop their education within the game. The Club regularly organises FA qualifications in coaching and refereeing, first aid and child welfare. All courses are certificated by the Football Association and recognised at a national level. You can add them to your CV when seeking employment or applying to college or university.

Smartphone Journalism Online Workshop 27 & 28 April 2020
11 participants aged 14 to 18 participated in the Workshop (2 sessions of 90 minutes each) delivered via Zoom by Shajan Miah, Journalism Club founder and BBC Sport digital journalist.

Shajan taught the first steps of making a video to tell a story and the Participants in pairs had a tight deadline of 24 hours to make their film which they played back to the group and received feedback. Shajan also discussed the different routes into the wide range of media jobs, how news is made, as well as some CV tips.
