Welfare and Safeguarding

Safeguarding is Everyone’s Responsibility

Playing football should be safe and enjoyable. Children and young people have a right to be treated with respect and should show respect to others. Kensington Dragons is fully committed to the Child Protection and Safeguarding Guidelines set down by the FA.

The Club’s Safeguarding Policy document can be found in the Policies section of the website. FA guidelines can be found on the FA website. As a FA Charter Standard Club our policies and procedures are regularly checked by the Middlesex FA.

If you have any concerns regarding any player please contact in confidence:

Club Welfare Officer

You can contact the FA at safeguarding@thefa.com or visit the page here on how to report your concerns.

Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing in a safeguarding context means revealing and raising concerns over misconduct or malpractice within an organisation, or within an independent structure associated with it.

It can be used as an early-warning system or when it’s recognised that appropriate actions have not been taken. Any adult or young person with concerns about a colleague’s conduct towards a child or young person can also use whistleblowing by calling 0800 1691863 and asking for the The FA’s safeguarding team or via email to: safeguarding@thefa.com
