We continue to win more than we lose but every match and training session must be paid for in one fashion or another. Every player cost the club around £300/season. We do not charge a subscription so rely on voluntary donations. If you can afford to donate please do; if you cannot don’t worry, you are welcome to join in and the coaches never know who contributes.

The Firsts beat Wood Lane 5-3 at home at the Den. A tense local derby where, after a sluggish start, Wood Lane had the upper hand and were pegging the Dragons back before they found themselves with two chances which they and gladly took. Upping the temperature, Wood Lane got back into the game, not just to equalise, but to the home fans disquiet pull ahead to 2-3. The Dragons showed once again the quality and hard work they have shown all season to keep playing, capitalise through set-pieces to eventually silence the chirpy away fans.
The Blues had no game.
The Old Dragonians beat Jugg Boyz 4-0 at home at the Den. Not just a clinical win for the Old Ds but a clean sheet and a solid performance.
The U15 Girls beat Alexandra Park 8-1 away. A thumping win for the Dragons that keeps them in touching distance of a second place finish. They come up against the same opponents this weekend and hope to deliver the same performance.
The U13 Girls lost 2-6 away at Alexandra Park. The Dragons started well, holding AP at bay. Even after going 0-1 behind the Dragons kept battling and equalised to end the first half 1-1. The U11 Boys beat Northwood 4-1 away. The young Dragons put in possibly their best performance yet, heading into half-time 3-0 up and with their confidence sky-high. The second half brought a continued combination of poise and relentless effort, until the final ten minutes when their backs were finally up against the wall. They conceded one well-hit strike but saw the game out successfully.
The U12 Boys beat Spelthorne Colts 2-0 at home in the Quarter Final of the Middlesex Trophy. The match began in a scrappy fashion, not helped by the referee arriving 10 minutes late. Despite the disruption, the Dragons settled quickest and seized the initiative with a vital opening goal. Buoyed by the breakthrough, the Dragons pressed higher and struck again. The Dragons then focused on game management, holding their shape and defending resolutely, to secure a deserved place in the Semis.

The Dragons stuck to their game-plan, dug deep and earned their progression to the Semis!
The U14 Boys Red away game at Bessingby Park Rangers was postponed.
The U14 Boys White lost 1-4 at home to Pro FA. A game that the Dragons’ should have won turned into a tough result in the gloomy winter. Lessons learned.
