A rainy day for the U11s

Crouch End 5 V 2 Kensington Dragons U11s

After 15 minutes of tense negotiations to play the match which the Crouch End Coach wanted to postpone because of the water on the pitch, the Dragons Coaches came to the rescue to show commitment and swept the puddles to free the pitch of water.  On further inspection the match kicked off 15 minutes late at 10.45am.

By 11.05 the Dragons were losing by 5-0 and seemed to be asleep, the half time whistle could not come quick enough.  A solid second half played by the Dragons gave them 2 early goals and a stable performance resulted in a second half clean sheet.

A footballing lesson after the previous week’s victory!
