A clean sheet for the First Team and a place in Round 3

Hillingdon Abbots 0 – 4 Kensington Dragons – MCFA Junior Cup Round 2

The third of four away games on the bounce for the Dragons and the second cup game before returning to league action next week.

The conditions on the day were not the best after the rain and on a heavy sloping pitch Dragons struggled to settle into their rhythm but with that said the majority of possession was dominated by the Dragons who just lacked the final ball. The break-through did come with half an hour gone when a nice pass found Abdu Salmin who finished clinically. They went in at half time just avoiding an equaliser and started the second pretty much the same way. With a few substitutions now made the team looked refreshed and an in-swinging corner found the un-marked John Hammond for his first goal of the season. Not long after a good passing move let in Seymour Scott on the run and he gladly took his second of the season. Salmin at this time was causing havoc and a foul on him allowed Geoff Nalu Moso to complete the scoring.
