The big news is that our U15 Girls have battled through to the Cup Final to be played this coming Saturday at the Linford Christ Stadium with a 10AM Kick Off. It should be great fun – win or lose – so come along to watch but please sit in the stand to avoid interfering with the Thames Valley Harriers.
The U14 Girls beat Alexandra Park 5-4 at home. In an incredible end-to-end thriller, the game was level at halftime with two apiece. Who would have thought there would be another five goals to outdo the first half?! The Dragons found moments of brilliance and were deserved winners over their bitter rivals AP. To the noise of home fans they ended their penultimate game of the season with a huge three points to create momentum into their final fixture.
The U12 Girls drew 1-1 to St Josephs at home. The Dragons went 0-1 down in the last 15 minutes of the first half but then came roaring back in the last 15 minutes of the second half to make it 1-1. The Dragons strikers had chances to put the game to bed but were unable to capitalise.
The U15 Girls are in the League Cup Final against Broomwood FC this coming Saturday with a 10am KO at the Linford Christie Stadium
There were no other scheduled games across Seniors, Youth Boys and Youth Girls.
