The Firsts lost 2-4 away at Hilltop. In tight games, being just on the wrong side of small margins means that small mistakes have a bigger impact. For the Firsts, this sums up the match against Hilltop.

The Blues lost 0-3 at home to Southall Athletic. Buoyed by last weekend’s win the Blues started the game well but their performance dropped in the second half whilst Southall moved up a few gears, with all three goals coming after the break.

The Old Dragonians had no game.

The U15 Girls beat Enfield Town 9-0 on aggregate at home in a double header. This was a huge win for the Dragons. Enfield now will surely now dread every fixture against the Dragons. On average, the Dragons are scoring three goals per half and are brimming with confidence.

The U12 Girls, U14 Girls and U17 Girls had no games.

The New U11 Boys beat Parkfield Youth 7-0 at home. A great team performance with great goals to add. This is the Dragons’ biggest win of the season.

The U12 Boys beat Harrow St Marys 4-1 at home. The Dragons remained composed after conceding an equaliser in the last minute of the first half. The bumpy pitch was a challenge which the young Dragons eventually overcame, pulling ahead with three goals which proved too much for Harrow.

The U13 Boys Red lost 2-3 at home to Football Samurai in the League Trophy. It was a good game of high quality from as both the Dragons and FS played to win in the Trophy competition now the League has ended.

The U13 Boys White lost 0-2 away to Foots UK in the League Trophy. A day that the young Dragons want to quickly forget. Illness, unavailability, a poor official and lapses of concentration contributed to a below par performance. Neither side looked like scoring until the referee gave a poor decision, and with the Dragons still questioning that decision their opponents hit a long ball straight down the pitch which their forward ran in to score. The second goal was conceded three minutes before time when the Dragons over-committed leaving gaps in their midfield.

The U14 Boys were awarded an automatic away win to London Athletic who forfeited the game.

The U15 Boys beat Hanwell Town 2-1 away. This was an extraordinary result – the Dragons had a bare 11 players against Hanwell’s huge squad of 16. At half time it was 0-0 with both sides desperate to score the opening goal. Back on the pitch Dragons were awarded a penalty which Hanwell initially saved before the alert Dragon thumped the ball in. Hanwell responded to make it 1-1. The Dragons never gave up and in the dying seconds launched yet one more attack which resulted in the winning goal – 15 seconds from the final whistle.

The U16 Boys drew 2-2 to Acton Ealing Whistlers at home. Playing local rivals AEW is a challenge every Dragon relishes. The Dragons badly wanted the win to give them a bit of breathing space in the League, with the next team below them having games in hand.

The U18 Boys had no scheduled match.

The U10 Boys trained in preparation for the League.
