It was the U14 Boys who lead from the front this week with their massive win:

The First’s away match v Pitshanger Dynamo was called off due to a waterlogged pitch

The Blues were awarded a win in Round 1 of the Middlesex Cup as Economicals FC could not raise a team

The Old Dragonians had no scheduled match

The U18 Boys were awarded 3 points as Regents Park FC could not raise a team

The U16 Boys beat Harrow United 6-2 at home in a splendid match. The Dragons got off to a great start and had plumped three goals in before the home fans had hardly settled in their seats. Harrow did their best and were rewarded with a couple of goals. The Dragons went on to score another three with the fifth being, in the words of the Dragons Coach “the goal showed what playing simple football as a team can produce and was one of the best team goals I have seen”

The U15 Boys lost 0-4 to Kodak at home. The Dragons were disappointed but there is a long way to go and early setbacks are character building. It’s easy to be cheerful when winning – true strength of character shows through when times are tough.

The U14 Boys walloped West Drayton 8-1 away. This was a tremendous display from the Dragons in only their second match of the season. They had clearly blown off the footballing cobwebs which were still hanging around last week to burst into form this weekend.

The U13 Boys Reds beat Ealing Utd 5-3 at home. The Dragons had a good first half and were 2-0 up at the break. Ealing pulled back to 2-2 before the Dragons really got into their footballing groove to run away clear winners.

The U13 Boys Whites lost 1-3 to Northfields at home. The Dragons are finding their footballing feet and were pleased to win the second half 1-0 after being 0-3 down at half time.

The U12 Boys lost 1- 3 away to London Athletic. The Dragons on the whole played well and away matches are always difficult at the beginning of the season. The Dragons downfall was to be caught three times in counter attacks.

The U11 Boys played Harrow St Mary away in their first ever match. The Dragons made history by donning the original shirts and striding out to play this veteran side who had been playing together for years. The Dragons lost the first half and then drew 3-3 in the second. Their speed of learning is almost meteoric and bodes well for the future.

The U10s trained in preparation for entering the League
