U14s beat Kodak at the Scrubbs

Kensington Dragons U14A 4 v 1 Kodak

The Dragons took the lead in the first minute and should have been 3 up in the first 10 minutes as their wide left midfielder cut in and unleashed a curling shot from the edge of the box to rattle the cross bar and then a goal mouth scramble saw the post hit. Totally against the run of play Kodak then equalized before the Dragons responded with a great ball from midfield lead to a cool finish. The 3rd goal came from a class free kick from the left midfielder who hit a sweet curling shot into the top right hand corner to make it 3-1 at half time. Kodak responded at the start of the 2nd half and started to close the Dragons down who never the less always looked dangerous going forward and on one such sortie a mazy run beating 3 defenders lead to a trip in the box and a Dragons converted penalty to seal the victory.
