U15A beat Forest United at home

Kensington Dragons U15A 2 v 0 Forest United Youth

After a narrow defeat in our last outing the young Dragons were looking to make up for it and they started very brightly as we took full control of the match. A snap shot early in the game from striker Tim was good enough to test their keeper who was saving the opposition. Great play by Abdullah to win a corner saw the set piece defended poorly & gifted Dayo the chance to give Dragons the lead with a cool finish. The second half began with Dragons leading & now looking to increase the lead after a few good chances with Dayo hitting the crossbar. Goalkeeper Brett then made a great save and the Dragons broke at speed to win a corner to which striker Shabba scored the winner with a header into the bottom corner.

A good 3 points for the boys in front of Ex England keeper David James in attendance. Next up for the boys a local derby vs Rugby Portobello.
