Dragons Summer Soccer School: 10am to 1pm every day from Sunday 19 to Thursday 23 July at Kensington Memorial Park, W10 6BZ (also known as St Marks Park).  This is aimed primarily at current under 9 to under 11 girls and boys who would like to play in a team next season. Parents can register their son or daughter on the day.

Dragons Summer Book Tip:  “White Teeth” by Zadie Smith. Famously, west Londoner Zadie wrote this, her debut novel, whilst at university. Publishing houses were involved in a bidding war for the rights to the novel which depicts London at its most vibrant, diverse and comic. She grew up in Willesden and has cited Kensal Rise Library as one of her favourites. Dragons should not be too disheartened if they do not write fiction as well as this by the age of 24.
