U14A do just enough away to Concorde

Concorde Rangers 2 v 3 Kensington Dragons U14A

Dragons turned up knowing that they beat Concorde 7-0 the previous week and were warned by the Manager not to think this was going to be an easy ride. Dragons started the first half rather sloppy and it wasn’t long before the opposition were awarded a penalty to which our keeper reacted well and saved. A second penalty was then given but this time in our favour which unfortunately was hit wide of the goal (Emanuel). Dragons continued to play slowly and eventually this resulted in the opposition going 1-0 up. However this lead didn’t last long when a free kick from our left midfielder (Dean) was comfortably converted into the back of the net leaving it 1-1 at half time. After a stern talking to from the Manager, Dragons seemed to pick up their game to score a 2nd (Pedro) and 3rd (Emanuel) goal however due to the  Dragons laid back attitude throughout the game, Concorde eventually found the back of the net again making the game 3-2 at full time.
