The Firsts beat Camden and Islington United 1-0 at home. This was not the Dragons best performance, nor was it a great game, but it was a huge three points all the same. The Dragons should have scored more but in a disjointed match winning was the aim and the Dragons did just that. On to a huge Cup game away this coming weekend.

The Blues lost 1-3 to Feltham Town away. Despite Feltham getting a red card, they counter-attacked twice to take the lead. This made it hard for the Blues to play as they sat back and soaked up a lot of pressure.

The Old Dragonians beat Grove Park Rangers 9-2 at home. This big win shoots the Old Ds to the top of the League – albeit on goal difference as their title contenders also have two games in hand. The Dragons know that all they can do is focus on the next game and secure three points after three points.

The U16 Girls beat Alexandra Park 14-0 away. For 20 minutes the Dragons were average but in hindsight it was simply the calm before the storm. From the 21st minute onwards it was a hurricane. The Dragons completely blew AP away with 10 unanswered goals by half time. It was agreed to shorten the second half and the Dragons played with 9 but still scored 4 more before proceedings were halted.
Congratulations to AP who kept battling to the end.
The U15 Girls beat Islington 3-0 at home. A great win for the Dragons who not only managed to bag a collective hat trick but shut Islington out completely to seal the clean sheet.

The U13 Girls drew 0-0 to Brent Schools at home. This was a great Dragons performance. They started slowly, despite playing downhill in the first half, and some fans worried that playing uphill in the second would be difficult. The Dragons were not to be deterred. They got into their groove to battle well against a great team to keep them at bay with both teams ultimately cancelling each other out in the final third.

The new U10 Boys beat London Athletic 1-0 at home. A very challenging game, not helped by the LA parents not behaving with the courtesy one would hope for. The Dragons kept strong and completed some great passing sequences.
The U11 Boys beat Headstone Manor 6-1 at home. The Dragons made their quality show. The whole squad demonstrated their ability as goals came from every part of the pitch. The value of having a full-time goalkeeper was also on display, with the opposition rotating theirs throughout the match.

The U12 Boys beat Norsemen 1-0 at home in the Semi-Final of the Middlesex Cup. This was a fiercely contested cup clash. Both teams started with high intensity, knowing the stakes, but neither broke the deadlock in the first period. After the break, the Dragons stayed composed and began to press with greater purpose. Opportunities came and went as the tension built and then, with just three minutes remaining, the Dragons were awarded a crucial penalty. They made no mistake from the spot and then protected their lead until the final whistle.

The U13 Boys beat London Athletic 3-1 away. The Dragons were slow to start again, going 0-1 down early on. A penalty save early in the second half at 1-1 by the Dragons’ goalie, and Captain,  inspired a dominant performance thereafter.

The U14 Boys Red beat Foxes 4-3 away. The Dragons ultimately got the win they wanted – and needed – in this mid-table clash that keeps them in the running for a top three finish.

The U14 Boys White beat Belmont Bees 3-2 away. This was the best performance of the season against a side who had beaten the Dragons previously. The Dragons defended brilliantly and counter attacked with pace and were never behind despite only having one substitute. The Dragons were deserved winners.

The U15 Boys had no game.
The U16 Boys beat Regents Park 7-1 at home. This was an interesting match, as much for the variety of goals, than anything else. Quite how some ended up in the back of their respective nets was a wonder for the fans. The Dragons never seriously looked as if they would lose. The team is on the way to being formidable – it is not there yet but clearly on the way.
The U17 Boys narrowly lost to Wealdstone 3-4 away in the League Trophy. Unfortunately lapses in concentration cost the Dragons again and being the better team didn’t count, even if they defended much better this week.
