A force 10 gale greeted us as we arrived at H&Y. Playing against the wind in the first half we were in trouble early having difficulty clearing our lines and quickly found ourselves 3-0 down after 15 Mins As the half progressed the team started to adapt to the conditions and come more into the game without creating any clear cut chances , just at the point of half time we received a hammer blow as an H&Y player made a run from the halfway line and unleashed a rocket of a shot that flow in our net
We were hoping with the wind at our backs that the 4 goal deficit was not out of reach, and we did create more chances and had more of the possession but were unable to make it pay. As we pushed our midfielders forward, the defense was left exposed and got caught on a counter attack to concede a fifth, and only good defending and a series of saves from our keeper stopped more goals being conceded.
